Yeah the desire to upgrade that aspect of the car came to a pleasant dead end right there. :P
Black provas are still on the to do list though

Where did u mount the a/f?

Thanks man. I haven't mounted the a/f gauge yet as I've been using the LC-1 directly to a pc. But it will be mounted like this:

I stole your pic Sean Perrin lol.

Man that's a great idea putting the AFR gauge down there. Can't be used for much else as crap just falls out when you do so much as blow on the "mildly loud pedal" 8)

FYI, love the boost gauge too!

February 2014 Update! New brakes and Suspension.

The Brakes: Recently picked up a full set of 08+ STi brembos off Sean82 that came with two-piece DBA front Rotors and DBA T3 dual PCD rear rotors, Project Mu pads, and Hel Braided lines. After receiving them, I got to work prepping them up for repainting to Silver for a nice subtle look. I couldn't make up my mind between Red Brembo stickers against the silver or Black STi decals, so I ran the STi on one side and Brembo on the other  After the install, I was immediately sold on the Red on silver combo, so I removed the STi decal and stuck on red Brembo decal all round.

I must say, the car has never stopped better :D

Some Pics:

STi decal. Looks good but against my dark wheels, it just didn't stand out.

The Suspension: Recently got a set of Bilstein B14 coilovers from Japan and really loving them!!! Ticks all the boxes for me personally.

The details: Bilstein B14 (BSS) Coilovers for Liberty GT (Legacy GT) BM/BR. Part number BSS6036J.
Front Spring rate: 6kg/mm with 1.5kg Helper springs
Rear Spring rate: 5kg/mm with 1.5kg Helper springs

Adjustments: There is no damping or rebound adjustment, you would have to step up to the B16 series for that. In saying that though, I think the lack of damper adjustment has saved me ALOT of time fiddling around trying out settings  There is however, height adjustment. The rear has about 40mm of height adjustment and I am at the highest setting without affecting spring preload. The fronts have about 50mm of adjustment and I'm in the middle. Since these coilovers do not have a separate height adjustment like alot of others, the good thing is that height adjustment does not affect spring preload like say the Tein Street Advance. When you adjust height at the spring perch, the helper springs take up the slack leaving the main spring to work at full length.

The Ride: It's hard to fully describe but here goes... The ride is very comfortable, stable, direct, neutral and I have to say the dampers and spring combination is very good. It holds the road extremely well. Low speed damping is quite soft and supple, high speed damping is insane! I cannot get these coilovers to crash out, soft or firm when it needs to be. Road bumps do not unsettle the car and even crossing train tracks, the car is still very flat and composed. The ride is not bumpy, but rather firm and controlled. They do not 'hop' over uneven roads.

Conclusion: These coilovers are pretty much the best ride I've had in an SH Forester to date. Sure the cheaper coilovers can handle well around corners, but that's about it... they are very hard and bone jarring on less than perfect roads making trips unpleasant. Keep in mind when I say the best ride, I'm talking overall package for the street and perhaps occasional track. But, I have yet to take my car on the track, so I will update if/when the time comes.

Here's some pics of the goods:

Went to the SubyClub dyno day yesterday at Springwood Car Care and ran the Foz on E85.

Very very happy with the results!!! Remember this is with a 4EAT and the TMIC and mid pipe are still stock which has been fine on the car at this power level

Engine/performance mod list:
- VF52 Turbo
- DW 750cc injectors
- DW65 Fuel pump
- AEM Filtered Hyperflow CAI
- X-Force Dump pipe w/stock mid pipe and Prova mufflers
- Grimmspeed 3 port
- Turbosmart BOV
- EVERYTHING ELSE STOCK

Dyno: E-tuned by Eric of Torqued Performance (TP), Dyno'd @ Springwood Car Care
Type: Mainline
Gear: 3rd

The graph (excuse the fuel as 98. It was run on E85):

Just imagine what you could do if it was 5EAT and you were running a Perrin TMIC and ID1000s injectors :D :D :D :D

Good results still ;)
