De-badging GEN IV - Done before?

Postby [Liberty2.5] » Fri Jul 18, 2008 5:39 pm

Hey,

Has anyone de-badged the rear of their GEN IV?

I have the 2007 model but im not too sure if the subaru logo has holes behind it?

Anyways let me know - and post up a pic :D

Cheers,

Karl

Hi Karl,

The 'Liberty' words are just stuck on (took it off the night i got the car ), but i assume your referring to the emblem? Quick search and i came across this thread over at legacygt.com

There are an oval indentation where the badge fits and a couple alignment holes.

WTF - I dunno whether this guy is serious or not?? power gains?

I work for ford and i can tell u the Ford Logo has got locating holes and an oval indentation, and the model Eg. Falcon Xr6 is just stuck on with double sided tape.

I dare say subaru have used the same concept.

Haha. For some, the first exposure to Mano can be shocking due to his abnormal humour and that he sometimes forgets to take his medication. But don't worry, he'll grow ya. :friends: The key is not to take him too seriously.

sorry about that moment of madness,
Back on topic. This is the best pic i could find of the rear of my car showing the lack of a Liberty badge.
