hello from "sunny" melbourne

hi one and all,

been lurking and reading a few posts on here for awhile and finally came to the conclusion thats its probably time i sign up and say hi.

so anyway my name is will and im based (for the moment) in the leafy south eastern suburbs of melbourne and currently am driving a black 04 model gt after previously fooling around with a stock white 00 model wrx.

i have always had a thing for turbo subarus and thats probably reflected in the company i keep, i have mates that have owned and heavily modded the following: 92 rs turbo, 02 liberty b4 and 04 impreza sti and initially i was looking at and test driving a couple of b4's but after managing to extend the budget a little i managed to find a lightly modded 04 gt sedan that caught my attentions in both looks and drive.

the gt is currently running with a cai, lowered springs, 18inch dark bronze 5 spoke rims, window tint, debadged rear and one or two other suprises however hopefully the future holds quite a bit more (finances permitting) with the exterior appearance probably my main focus in the immediate future.

anyway wrapping up, if you see the car out and about give a wave (i will post some pics up shortly from a mate who is pretty in to photography) and hopefully i will see a few of you on the roads and at meets. (ps. actually i have already started, spotted tangcla's car last night and a very nice car at that!)

tell me about it...all work and no play lately especially considering my play is soccer and i have been injured for the past month :shock:

anyways when and if a meet is organised will see if i can drag my mate who is really into photography along...he took the pics of my car and is into liberty's as well (used to drive the 92 rs turbo) and is always looking for an excuse to take more pictures.

so anyway on to the more important things about the lib...MODS

after quite a bit of reading, reseach and throwing things round in my head it seems to me that performance wise the next route to take for my car would involve a replacement tmic and lose the stock item...free flowing down pipe and then a tune, keeping in mind i have a cai already installed...

im not looking for huge gains but purely a more responsive and eager car to drive around town, improving throttle response and letting the car run somewhat more free than stock.

with the above mods done is there anything more thats needs to be done to accompany those mods and to produce the best result...rather new to all this so any advice would be greatly appreciated if i have missed anything
