I have decided to bite the pillow and buy some id1300s. Sourced some here in Bris. Tiny bit more spendy than online, but at least I can support a local.

I now have these injectors. Did a fair bit of driving today at Coyote's (and my) secret test location. It is a section of little used road with big rolling hills in a 100 zone. Did about an hour of loading up the hill with no boost and coasting down in gear. The fuel consumption is getting better. It is now down to 14.8 per hundred, so it is loosening up. I think I will do an oil and filter change tomorrow.

I also intentionally didn't take any photos.

Went to Harry's Diner last night to bask in the adulation of all the tight jeans cool kids. I put my smallest shorts and biggest v neck shirt on so I would fit in. As I was reverse parking (with a big clutch and cammy engine mind you) i could over hear kids saying "why would you bring that here" and muttering something about not being able to use a clutch. There was an mazda MPS meet on, some chick had the hide to say to her mates next to my car she couldn't stand the boxer note. Again, I just stood their and smiled. A guy in a low loud h6 gen four wagon just drove past and looked down at it. I presume he knows not of the existence of this thread.

This is why my car exists.

*on the photos. I loaned my Canon DSLR to my sister to take to PNG on a diving trip. My sister is fairly absent minded to say the least and left the charger in a hotel somewhere. Thus far she has not replaced said charger. So in effect, I am waiting on getting a charger. I might head down and see NickC/Wastegate one of these days and take a few pics.

Sleepers forever.

I suspect I would have done that without positive manifold pressure.

I've just read every page of this mental build and I'm completely in awe!

Ian, I've got to see this thing in the metal some day!

It will be around terrorising unsuspecting people shortly. I just need to run an eye over a few things then it is off to the dyno.
Once the tune is taken care of it will be going into a panel beaters to have 9 years of other people's carelessness removed.
From there, who knows. I have been toying with the idea of putting some wheels on it. XT7s as they don't stand out too much, or some rpf01's, refinished in a matt bronze.

RPF1s look smaller than they actually are IMO... dazzz168 had them in 18s on his SH Foz and they looked like 16s or 17s...could also be because the SH Foz is such a fat girl though

Must be looking forward to some dyno love; Matt and Tony again?
