I am just recently bought a exhaust system thats getting fitted this week on my 07 gt spec b sedan in Perth. Just some info on my exhaust:
Invidia catted dump pipe from prospeed racing: $850
Hitech Catback system from over east. QUAD TIPS with a centre resonator to try and keep things a bit quite. ($1600 delivered to perth)

Hitech have the full TBE for $1900. If your fan of the quad tip mufflers then i reckon they are pretty decent.
In the exhaust section of the forum u can have a listen to the sound of the hitechs.

My car is also getting alot of other work done and getting tuned at ASG next week:
Cobb intake, silicone turbo inlet, avo intercooler, turbosmart bov, grimm speed EBCS and fuel pump on the performance side of things, can let you know how i go in terms of power.
ive got a 6 speed.

Vroy, I am very pleased to read this. I am VERY keen to know how this works out. Can you please do me a huge favour and report back on the ASG side of things as well? Customer service, effectiveness etc etc? Really hope it works out well for your sake and mine! I'm very keen to follow a similar path in a matter of weeks, although I have the vf52 instead of a few of the other delicious goodies you have.

Go for a drive with a few local members and get a feel for their cars before you part with your hard earned ;)

this is exactly what I'm going to do. After that I'll assess whether or not I'll chase more power. Currently I have matts latest tune and the car moves very very well for a tune only. Easily smash the speed limit before you know it.

So just got my gt spec b tunes by ASG in perth. 170kw @15 psi boost. 328NM of torque (Air temp : 35deg)
Big difference over standard.
Mods:
TBE (invidia DP + Hitech CBE)
Cobb intake
perrin turbo inlet
avo intercooler
turbosmart BOV
grimmspeed EBCS.

Tuner said he didnt want to push the turbo to 17psi. i thought the stock v46 could easily push 17psi efficiently?

Either way very happy with the reult.
Hit max boost at 3000rpm, car is much more driveable and responsive. And i love the turbo spool sound now!

Next upgrade : Blouch 440XT turbo.... What do you think?

Thats good power if its auto, Is it auto or manual?

I would have thought the stock turbo could handle 17psi as well. Being a 35deg wouldn't help with peak power but as long as the tune is safe, max killerwasps are just numbers. Comes down to drive ability mainly.

Id be happy with about that power with those mods myself. It will be faster than most cars to 100kph on the street.

Not sure if i should go back and tell him to increase the boost, im guessing its not that simple!
Might just wait to buy a turbo first and then retune.
Car drives brilliantly tho.

The 440 is an old turbo. Its only advantage is it bolts to the stock intercooler. Give the 440 a swerve and get a dom 1.5 8cm. That said; you will be getting into head lifting, piston melting, bearing spinning territory.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Wouldn't bother for now. Just enjoy the new found power.
Get it looked at again once you upgrade the turbo.

Surely 17psi in S# mode, 15psi in Sport and even 12psi in Intel modes would be viable?

Id be happy with about that power with those mods myself. It will be faster than most cars to 100kph on the street.

170Kw on a hub dyno is around 150Kw on the Towler dyno to put that into perspective

FYI IME
Having had mine on this dyno on old tune I know it is acurate. Mine did 300awhp at MM and on a hotter day did 285 at ASG hub dyno.
My trap speed equates to 300hp at the wheels so 170kw is 170kw at wheels on that hub dyno.
CURRENT - ATP GTX 3576 - 22psi - 283.7awkw
OLD - Dom 1.5Xtr - Last dyno 254ahkw, previous 238ahkw, first 224awkw.

Forget them, get injectors and go E85!!!!

Over Christmas I was down in Sydney and out having a fun drive with a buddy of mine in our Foresters. Mine was VF52, 5EAT, ID1000s, inlet DP, dw65c, E85, Torqued Performance etune; buddy's is a 1.5XTR, ID1000s, DW65C, inlet and 5MT on United 100, MSR Dyno tune (252kW).
No matter what he did, he couldn't keep up; the off boost torque of the E85 and the MUCH quicker spool time of the vf52 just meant I would be changing from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd before he'd even hit peak boost.

IMO, a Blouch Dom (other than being over priced) is a strip turbo, not a street turbo. They are just so big for the 2.5L that a well tuned VF can run rings around them on the street yet still produce decent strip times if that's your thing

FYI, in full tilt kit, mine ran 12.89 @ 106 at Willowbank on a 25* night.

Ymmv though, of course ;-)
