STi Rims - Problem HELP!!

Hi guys,

I posted on another topic but thought id make a new one...

So heres the background... Ive got a stock MY06 Liberty and wanting to chuck on some STi Rims....

Now the wrecker sold me 18x7.5 Fronts and 18x8 Backs.....(apparently off a MY07 Sti). They fit on my car so stud pattern must be 5 x 100 yeh??

My question is... Did the MY06 Tuned by Sti have different wheels/stud pattern 5x114.3 or just the same 5 x 100?? And anyone with an 07 Sti are your wheels different widths??!!??!!

Im just trying to get info so i don't do damage to my diff etc from what I've heard about staggered wheel widths etc.

Please any info would be greatly appreciated. Need help!!!

Nope, you'll be perfectly fine.

The 18x8s are actually a very limited JDM-only option of those wheels and are thus extremely rare and sought after. I'd run those on the back and the 7.5s on the front and you'll be sweet. Just make sure you run the same rubber on all 4 corners.

I know 0.5' in width might not do anything but just would rather have the same all round! OCD attack i didn't sleep last night because i kept thinking about it!!!

I would love to sell the 2 18x8" and just get some 7.5" to make me happy! Or the other way around... Find 2!

But does anyone know the hub size for the My06 sti? Is it 5x114.3?

All liberties are 5 x100 as far as I know.

Only the WRX STI went to 5x114.3 after 2005. All Liberties (and Imprezas other than the late STIs, and I think pretty much everything else Subaru do anywhere other than maybe their Kei cars) run a 5x100 PCD.

They “were” brand new JDM sti wheels 18x8 +48…. Stock were 18x7.5 +55

Were they still fitted with the Pirellis 235/40 r18?
