Great to see you moving up in the world!

Known engine issues wont be covered

Based on the O2 sensor on one side of yours being 'colder' heater resistance, I suspect it was on its way out pre-tune from the radiator fan high temps, just the added torque increased cylinder pressures to widen the hole to a noticeable level. Yours is literally the ONLY H6 I have ever done that has blown a headgasket. Assuming the engine is assembled correctly with clean/true tolerances, there should be no reason for concern in future. Happy to tame down the torque if you like?

That is never a good idea

Why is it a known engine issue even after replacement?

I believe some guys have done it twice, albeit done correctly it should fix the issue completely first time. Radiator fans lowering head temps means the issue should be eliminated :)

They know it is a common issue and I suspect are trying to reduce their risk.

If someone had the headgasket issue which plagues the EJ's and EZ's and knew about it, got me to tune the car and then made a claim to get the engine fixed etc is what they are trying to eliminate :)

Great to meet you today Matt. The drive home was worlds apart from the drive down. Looking forward to taking it on the highway now.
I'll let you explain the disaster that was my original "tune". :bad:

had my tune done saturday arvo by matt and all i can say is you are just wasting your money if you don't get it done by him. he took my cat back BL GT and turned it into a animal and the amount of low end torque that is available is amazing.
Speed doesn't kill its the sudden stop that does.

Hey Matt,

Thank you very much for the tune! I'm extremely happy with the results and am looking forward to testing the wagon on the highway soon. :D
Will start planning for the E85 tune but will need a few months to save up being on the pension and all ..... :(

Hope to catch up with you next time you are up this way.
All the best!

Hi Matt

I emailed the kido sales email last weekend regarding a H6 tune for my Outback.
Haven't received a response as yet, just wondering if you received my email? Or would it be more convenient if I PM'd you?

Cheers,
Cam

You'll have a better chance of contact if you pm Matt. But you may need to wait a few days due to his busy schedule.
Cheers

Thanks again for the tune today Matt. The difference it crazy, has a much more punch, the auto actually behaves itself and picks the right gear instead of the lottery before, haha! Look forward to what I can get out it in the future. Worth every cent!

i am another happy customer with a kido tune. Matt is a great guy and full of knowledge! i love the new tune on e85 we had a few dramas but with matts expertise we sorted them. We had some good laughs and nearly ended one night badly with a scare from the police, i could of been arrested and matt would of been walking home  but luck was on our side! Thanks again Matt
