I've got my dampening rates set at 2 from stiffest at the front and 5 from stiffest at the back, as I used to scrub occasionally on my guard liners over big dips - so far with stiffer dampening rates I'm yet to scrub Handling is freaking awesome but can be annoying on shitty roads so keep that into consideration

It looks awesome mate! I haven't lowered my fronts as low as yours as I've got too many speed humps in my area and a relatively steep drive way to my work place. With your current damper settings, I'm guessing it's pretty unforgiving when the roads are bumpy. What tyres have you go on again? 235/45R17?

Yes Alister you're correct. 235's sit perfectly on the 8" wheel. 45 is a nice profile for the ride too

with your current wheels and ride height i think setting it half way or a tad passed halfway towards hard will stop you from scrubbing. halfway isnt too bumpy.

mines set 5 from hard, still hits the bumper mount on big bumps/dips.

Yep it's pretty firm - given mine's not a daily, I'm quite okay with the increase in NVH to have the car respond better to dips and bumps and sit flatter through corners etc

Yep, Tony is spot on. For your wheel/tyre specs, around halfway should be absolutely fine. The other option is raising the car a fraction ( )

The only time you have to raise it. Is when its bad like mine. The bottom of the strut was touching the cv boots at the front and fryed then. Now that means it had to go up a little.!!

Everyone is telling me it needs more low but I am quite happy with it.

i don’t know how you guys drive around with such stiff set ups. Melbournes roads aren’t even that bad but it still shits me driving around on 10 from stiff if I’m not pretending to be a race car.

Kody, do all the LCA bushes, ball joints, get a front sway bar, set the coils to 20 from hard all round, then sit back and smile.

Are you driving below the speed limit to avoid fines? Haha

I think my front and rear damper settings both at 14 clicks from 'MAX' or 6 clicks from 'HARD' - Tein recommend winding back 8 clicks from MAX. My springs are only 6 kg front and rear so it's not too harsh. If I wind it down another 4 clicks, I'm back at factory settings, more or less. I'm guessin your ride feels more or less the same as before? Perhaps with less under-steer since the rear is stiffer?

Yeah, I always drive the speed limit. I only have 4 demerit points on P's so not worth it. It used to scrub with the old settings when I got enthusiastic in the corners, stiffened it up a little and it's great now.

To those who didn't see on Facebook, I also blacked out my headlights last week. I've been thinking of doing this for a while and finally got peer pressured into doing it
I really like the look, it's changed the look of the front quite a bit.
