Plastic hook/handle in boot floor liner

I never use the hook,
when you stand it up it pushes up against teh roof-lining and holds it there anyway

Yeah, that actually works pretty well - I just tried it. Obviously the previous owner did that too, because I saw it leaves scratches on the plastic pillar trim. But not bad ones, so that's definitely an option to save on buying a new hook. It doesn't work as well for me, since I have a boot mat - it puts a bit more weight onto it and start to slip.

Oh and for the Sedan owners like the OP seanmau5, you hook is 94576AG04A known as 'HOOK, MAT' or 'HANDLE'.

Here it is on Ebay - this seller's postage fees suck though for such a small part. But a google search for the Part# comes up with tons of other Subaru sellers as well.

In my experience when it comes to little plastic parts like this, the oz Dealerships are about double the price of US Subaru Dealerships for genuine parts. But postage from the US (if they're willing to be flexible on what's often a $50 flat fee, no matter how small the part), is at least $20. So unless I need other parts to combine postage, the local dealer is still cheaper for stuff like this.

I had never seen what a Sedan hook looks like (since I have a wagon), until I read the owners manual recently. So I didn't know we were actually talking about different parts (except your hook picture looked totaly different). So I'm glad I could help
