Head gasket 3.0r !!

my liberty 3.0r was diagnosed with a head gasket problem, it happened cos of a shitty $20 hose that blew and i didn't realise, spraying all the coolant everywhere in the engine, since it happened i had some small over heating issues, it happened when i burnt enough coolant, through the exhaust I'm guessing, i put some 'chem i weld' shit into it and it stopped it for a month or so, till i could get it fixed, it only sent exhaust gasses through the radiator into the overflow tank, which would fill to the rim and overflow on drives over 30minutes or real hot days, anyways now i sent it to the mechanics to fix, he told me, $2750, full head gasket, with cylinders heads machined and all, new radiator, thermostat, water pump, radiator hoses, and full service, does that sound reasonable for that price?, i would like to know your opinions guys, thanks.

It's a pretty reasonable price .. have a read through here . Few of us are having similar probs

That's quite a GOOD price. I've had two quotes over 4K so far, my lowest is on par with your current quote.
