Wouldn’t do it in a thousand years. These stop as fast as the tyres can handle anyway.

Who's talking about performance??? :P

Fixed the rattling tailgate after months of wondering where and how.
Also detailed underneath the floor sections in the boot while i was at it. WD40 is some amazing shit.

I was interested to see the suspension travel with the coil overs on their current setting (14,17)- Comfy as. Car still handles really well despite the soft ride. I guess that means the sway bars and whiteline bushes are doing their job.
GoPro vid coming a little later.

*Edit. Scratch that idea. i go over too many double lines for the internet.
The front wheels only lifts max of 1" from side to side while cornering on comfort setting. Drives and feels great.

Got a retune last night from Matt (Sunday the 8th).
Cars driving great. E85 might be on the cards for the new year.

Hey mate,

I bought the Works with the tyres already fitted. they’d done a few thousand KM’s before i got them. As far as i know they are about 220 each for 235/40/18 but definitely not a standard road tyre.

235/40/18 is standard commodore size, so being popular, the price comes down a lot if you compare them to 225/40/18.
Try and stick to a popular size and you should find some good deals.

Cheers. I might stick to 17x7 or 17x7.5 haha ...I'm supposed to buy a house sometime next year... #realworldproblems

getting stupidly excited waiting for my Genomes to arrive from JP. Hopefully i have them in my hands within the next week or two.
I’m enjoying the idea of not having to spend any more money on my car. I still plan to spray the grille body colour instead of a matte finish, and get the side skirts cleaned up.. After that i can sit back and enjoy the car for the next 10 or so months of ownership.

+1

I'm looking forward to that moment in time where I won't be spending so much on parts haha ...hopefully, that'll be as of March - I've got a new set of wheels coming then so before then I'm plannin on coating my calipers in VHT cast aluminum for a clean understated look. I'll have DBA T2 slotted rotors in by then too :D

I ought to make my own profile page :?

Nice! I’d like new rotors but only for the cosmetic aspect haha. And i spoke to soon...
My front left tyre started eating itself. i found a set of Potenza S001’s for 1k fitted so i’m most likely going with those tomorrow.

Best news i’ve received this year! Thanks!

This is what the inside of my front left tyre looks like. Goodbye Achilles 123S. I’m excitedly awaiting some proper performance/luxury tyres with minimal road noise as opposed to these bad boys.

it only looked like this after i had to drive on it semi flat for 100km’s. A combination of them being extremely soft tyres, low pressure and -3 degrees of camber led to this.
All the other wheels still look good but i’m over them anyway!
