Have you thought about a bonnet protector of some sort with all that driving you do to protect this great wagon ?

I would have loved a bonnet protector or even a car bra for the front, but even before I bought the car, it had been showered in stonechips from highway driving. The only thing I can do is just counteract any wear and tear with more TLC.

What's the noise like on the new zorst?

Same mufflers, just different tips so basically the same as before....deep and throaty

What type of welder etc did you use... Like a BOSS.

Those tips look 1000 times better than the standard 2.5”, thin, sucky muffs that I and many other people have.
Love them!

Nathan, did you end up getting your lip from the ebay thread from a while ago? or did you get it from somewhere else?
if the ebay one, do you have gaps between the lip and bar on the corners?

Dont let your mates turn you off welding ben... its really easy if you have the right gear. Even more so if you have a mig welder!!
Exhausts and things like that arent pressure welds so its not even important to get full penetration.

Ben, I started out on a stick welder that my old man has. As Adam said, it's actually really easy to learn. From there it's just all about technique and practice.
But for the exhaust tips, I used a MIG welder (I think it's a 150A). Mig welding is even easier, I love it. Just need to play around with what settings to use....but even I'm still a beginner with the MIG (but had my old man tutoring me). I'd say if I used a stick welder on those exhaust tips, they would have been too thin and I'd have blown a hole in the metal.

Yep I've got an ebay one from 4caroption. I do have small gaps on the corners of my bumper...from since I first installed it, I have changed the position of the bits which go up the side, but it's small enough that it doesn't bother me.

Wheelspin is not an issue yet comes on smooth as silk... 140kw@3000rpm on 16.2psi boost. He left here at around 5pm... I would almost expect him home by now.

I got yet ANOTHER new thing developed and it literally was spinning in Sport mode before he had even tried out Sport#
