Help!!!! ----Key remote stopped working.... Now working

Key remote just stopped working ,car still starts with the key but will not lock/unlock doors , changed battery but still the same problem .second set of keys work fine
Any thoughts or ideas please ???

Possibly the contacts on the circuit board?
try opening it up and having a good look
I accidentally took my key into the surf once, has worked brilliantly ever since. i don't recommend that.

Tried that checked and double checked

Put your key in the ignition and turn it to on and press lock 6 times repeatedly
cant remember where I read that but I did it when I had to change battery in both fobs and worked a treat
