Just a small introduction of myself

Hello everyone im currently and mechanical engineering student while also a keen Subaru enthusiast and have just upgraded from my Non Turbo 2008 Subaru Liberty (which is currently for sale), to my current amazing 2008 Liberty GT STI #75.

Plans:

Modification:
Double Din conversion
Installation of double din headunit (Alpine with GPS im aiming for)
Might look into a 3inch stainless Exhaust
Upgrading of all brake rotors and pads to either DBA T2 or T3 Rotors

These are some of the things ill be looking into for now

Tidy 'looking' car.

I'm sure the mod bug will bite very hard and you will be left broke and happy once you go throughout this forum.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

Same upgrade i did only a year ago Glexen.
The difference is huge, both lovely cars yes, but a turbo is so much more fun :lol:

Mod bug will bite don't worry about that!

mod -> tune -> drive -> get bored -> repeat...

Turbo or not that bug makes saving money very hard
I bought a H6 so I wouldnt be so tempted to upgrade the various components the turbo has but still am planning an d researching and spending more money than I ever planned
Extremely happy though :D

Welcome to the Tbsti crew! Here is a little info around the double din install you want todo:
- viewtopic.php?f=22&t=23520&start=15#p356198 - Wiring info around the speaker wires running to the amp, this'll come handy if you're not replacing speakers as well
- viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8395 - It'll be easier to replace the stock amp with something else, i chose the PDX-V9 before I knew these were 6 channel systems.
- http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php? ... cts_id=105 - Probably the cheapest double din unit you'll find. Use the coupon code: LPLF70 to get an extra 5% off!

Thanks all! those links are great TomTom cheers for that. I actually found that site for the double din when i was searching. Just saving up now for the upgrades!
