Surprising but the city/highway fuel economy is 12.6L/100km which is about the same as the 3RB and Im sure the economy will be better than the Liberty when towing I get around 16/100km with the Lib

PS company cars fuel is FREE :wink:

I had a test drive of the R36 today then saw the R50
The R36 just didn't grab me some things just not right very plain in side and I was amazed they are EX stock

In a word disappointing we have a R32 and was expecting it would be a big version of the 32 but its hard to judge in a 10 minute drive around the block with the sales reps finger nails bleeding from holding onto the dash and whip lash from roundabouts "G" forces :roll:

. Their was a bad smell in the cabin when the sales rep pooed his pants I was a proper prick the way I took a sweeping corner left then hard right heheh

My first corner felt funny like the nose was too heavy and the rear wanted to pop out never had that felling in the 3RB and the cabin was boring .

The 6 speed DSG makes the Liberty box feel like truck.

Im sure if I had it for a day I would change my mind . Still cant believe that they are ex stock I waited 4 months for the R32

Official fuel consumption results are flawed. They quote less for most SUVs.

Have you ever thought of getting an impreza (WRX) or an STI since new liberty is just around the corner? In europe they rated the Audi A4 below the the ford mondeo (Autocar if I'm not mistaken).

If you are in your late 40s to early 50s (or older) then get C-Class otherwise 3 series is the car for you if you want German.

God I feel old now I may consider a C Class when I'm 80 just cant wait
