On a side note, I've just bought the same Pioneer HU as you. I was all set to buy the model above it with the 7" screen, until I found out it doesn't have DAB.... wtf?
Any problems or annoying things with the 3500DAB?

Tough decision hey!

If i was legally aloud i definitely would have gotten something with forced induction. Not sure if that would have been a fantastic idea as a second car @19yo but oh well. In saying that i don’t regret my decision buying a 3RB over something else one bit.
As a driver i’ve come a long way since a year ago when i first started pushing the lib. Its been an awesome car to learn and gain experience in and it’ll be sad when i see it go when the time comes. I always smile to myself when i sit in 5th or 6th up a steep hill and watch the speedo climb quickly past 140kmh- they just want to rev!
Reliable, attractive, comfortable and functional.

The v35’s aren’t too pretty, 350z is cool- but like others said, going from an AWD 4cyl NA to a higher powered RWD is quite a jump and a lot to learn!
Im eager to find out your decision!

Hmm an interesting range of opinions.

Perhaps a high powered car may be a death trap, I can honestly say I won't know whether I will be responsible or not until I have one, if I get one.
I'm leaning towards the Nissans just as a change as a H6 is pretty much the same car. Driving the V35 for a weekend was just so different, it's more of an experience to drive than a Lib in my opinion. That is probably due to them being built as a sports car, where Liberty's will always be aimed more for practicality; again only my opinion.

Also, with the idea of track days in mind, both Nissans are better suited to this with standard Brembos and the like.
However I still love the Liberty as a highly underrated car. If I get another Lib, I'm leaning towards a H6 just for the gearbox.

Regardless, I still have a few months of tossing up what I want to do until I save the necessary money for the upgrade!

Daniel, I absolutely love the headunit. Digital radio is fantastic when it works, there are heaps of channels and they are clear as an iPod when on, however in my area digital reception is patchy. That and the antenna was a bitch to install.

Fair enough Kody, you may as well buy that while you can

I just had a look on carsales, can't believe how many H6 and GTs there are that are between $10-12k. So cheap! I was thinking about selling mine and upgrading, but at that kind of price its not worth it

Insurances quotes have already been done.

Still no idea what I'll do. I'll be going for my first ride in a H6 this Sunday so that may sway me :P

I can't find the V35 or the 350Z on the prohibited list.

Again probably different for qld but just to demonstrate

Tuned 3RB with exhaust and headers.

Next Monday the car goes in for a service. There are a few things that are needing (full bushing rehaul and the like).
That Monday I will either just get a basic service and plan on upgrading or... go titts crazy on my car which has already had a lot of work on it.

Hmmm.

Mate I reckon go a H6 lib, start the mods again and you'll be loving it in no time. Friends and family will agree in 6 months

I think that's what it will come down to. It will just depend whether I can really be bothered going to the stress of finding another Lib as nice as mine. It's so hard to find one that is well looked after. Plus if I get a H6, I'll have to do a clutch again, bushings...

When I ride in one, that will help me decide if it's worth it.
