So a few little things that are now on the cards.

I am looking for sway bars, end links and HD rear sway mounts. I have contacted a few members from the for sale section about bars that they have going. More interested in the rear but hey if a front comes up for a good price i am all for it.

Been getting a bit more driving done which has been very nice. Other then a fair bit of body roll which is why i am after the sway bars. Will look a bit more into some handling mods to come. Most likely on the cards will be some 18' rims and coilovers when money permits.

Swapped out the stock spotties over and now i have all white headlights (except the high beams= not too worried about) pretty easy to do with a jack and axle stands to bring the car up a bit.

I have some matte black wrap and will be doing a few interior panels to make it look a bit better. Pretty much after that the interior is done. Only things that i have left on the list will be some LED's for all interior lights, metal pedals to replace the stock rubber pads and the under seat sub for a bit more bass.

Exterior wise, I have organised with a different member for a front grill that has had the middle cut out to send to me so i will be DIYing a mesh grill for the front. I love the STI lip but very impractical for me considering the speed humps at work so that wont be happening. As i said earlier rims and coilovers for a better ride level will happen when money permits. And throw a few LED's in and the exterior is done for what i want.

All that is left is sorting the handling out. No point chasing power so I will get it to run like a roller coaster through the twisties and I will be happy for a while.

Update on the grill that i bought and nothing has happened since i paid for it. I know a cop or two so i am going to get them to call the guy and put the hard word on them and see what happens from there. Fingers crossed

Forgot to add that I also did the front number plate lift. Don't have any pics but we have all seen the flip the clips around lift before.

I clipped a kangaroo a few weeks back and when i looked at the front bar there was no damage but there was a big black mark across it. My theory was that i only got the tail (thank god for AWD) so the mark was just dirt and shit from its tail which wiped straight off. Turns out i damaged the bar behind the number plate. Can't see it with the plate on so it goes in the not worried about it basket.

Rainy day so thought it was a good opportunity for a garage afternoon. Interior coped a clean. Spent about 45min on a polishing wheel trying to get the front badge to some kind of presentable. turned out ok but still not 100%, still has a few clouds in it. Stars went white and background black.

Also a pic of the front plate lift.

Had some vinyl wrap laying about so i thought i would have a crack at the interior. the fins beside head unit and the surround for the gear stick went black for a bit more continuity and contrast.

post wrap.
Result isn't perfect but it looks good (just don't look too close) Now i just need some LEDs for inside to get rid of the ugly yellow light

The number plate lift is something I want to do too. Was it hard?

Nope it is easy as. Just flip the screw holders that go horizontally from the holes in the front bar so they are going vertically at the top. Drill out the centres of the screw holders and you are away. I have a dremel so i just drilled through with a small bit and cleared a bit more plastic out of the screw holders so it was easier to screw in as the stock screws are pretty thick. I don't have any pics of it on me but i will take a couple tomorrow to show you what i mean.

Hey mate, I realise this is super late, but I've only just read your profile. With the armour all/plastidip- iirc, it needs to be wet when removing the masking otherwise it will lift. I think you can also respray a wet layer if it's started to dry a little.
