should’ve done it on day one.
i need aftermarket rear end links now though as i’ve done the front.

even with the coils on comfort mode, the car is extremely flat. Very comfortable ride with great handling. couldn’t be happier with it.

Hey Jay,

How much did you pay for rubber at each corner? I've been lookin into rims but the price of rubber makes me sad. Going from 17x7.0 to 18x7.5, or even just 17x8.0 with an aspect ratio of 40 seems to be $100-$120 extra at each corner... a $400-$500 difference! Seems like the cost of rubber is as much as the wheels themselves... I don't think I can afford wheels :(

Hey mate,

I bought the Works with the tyres already fitted. they’d done a few thousand KM’s before i got them. As far as i know they are about 220 each for 235/40/18 but definitely not a standard road tyre.

235/40/18 is standard commodore size, so being popular, the price comes down a lot if you compare them to 225/40/18.
Try and stick to a popular size and you should find some good deals.

Yeah weird how it does that!
Its a lot smoother at low RPMS with the 6MT. Ie when you coast in 1st gear and the revs hit 800rpm, the car used to jerk forwards and backwards a fair bit. Thats been eliminated and its pretty cruisy now. I like it.

When the FSB was installed an AFR sensor went, and i finally got around to replacing that today. Ordered a replacement off Denso USA and got it 3 days later for $200.
Install took an hour or two, the stupid heat shield for the cat didn’t want to go back on.

Started up the car and the CEL has gone and i can now use cruise control!

Wouldn’t do it in a thousand years. These stop as fast as the tyres can handle anyway.
