Matts 2.5 n/a

Postby Elbus » Sat Oct 12, 2013 9:28 am

Hey everyone, thought I might as well throw some pics up of what I've been up to on the liberty.
Its a 2.5 n/a auto so performance isn't really possible to increase without spending huge a amount (very happy to be corrected :D ) Nonetheless, its a fantastic car to drive and never draws any unwanted attention which is always nice
Any helpful comments or suggestions would be much appreciated :D

Interesting sticker bombing on the interior.. Not sure what I think of it actually.

Not a fan of the LEDs in the front bar.

I wouldn't personally do the bumper leds but I think they would look better if you also have collour matched headlights & fog lights.

i do like having yellow foggies, because i actually use them, you can get all the bulbs and stuff at supercheap auto, autobahn, etc can't you? what bulbs would I need to change the drivers over to white led?
tempted to put the leds elsewhere, maybe in the boot?
-again, any suggestions would be most welcome :D

Your headlights are H7; would you consider an HID upgrade?

for sure, what prices and where from for HIDs though? is it much of a difference in pricing between new bulbs and HIDs

You can get Crystle vision or whatever they're called for 60ish.. For a reasonable HID kit it would be around $80-$100ish. They're all over eBay.

What did you have to do in order to get HIDs in?

Also which ones did you go for?

just got h7s, i thing they are 4500w, not sure. they literally just plug and play, you just have to mount the ballasts somewhere safe.
I mounted one on the side of the air box (before the air filter) and the otter was triple cable tied on the metal above the headlight, took bugger all time to install too :D
