The retail price is only around $120, have you tried audio stores in your area?

I was cruising through the forums and reading about them. People mentioned that this product is something that isn't usually stocked in Australia.

Would you be able to point me to a retailer in Oz that sells these perhaps?

Cheers

Thanks for that. I am happy to wait. I really only wanted to buy it in anticipation that there is something wrong with my sub.

I'm going to pull the rear parcel tray out and see what is rattling because if I put my hand on the cover, the rattle goes away almost completely so I think it may just be a case of adding dynamat to this area.

If the sub is carking it, rather than replacing it with an OEM unit, I may as well upgrade to the Polk Audio subwoofer.

Cheers

Are the fusion one's free-air types? Being in the parcel tray, I assumed that the sub had to be a specific type for it to work... or am I wrong?

Cheers

http://www.fhrxstudios.com.au/ has a list price for it so they should be able to get one in if they don't have it in stock.

In the past have bought polk audio stuff from my local audio place and they had it in stock.
Different audio places stock different brands based on their preferences so you could ring around a few and ask.

Interesting. Might just have to start calling around if that is the case and see who has them for the best price!

Cheers for the input guys. Next mod to look into: one of these iPhone integration modules. Grom IPD-3 is looking good so far after having a read of that audio thread.

I know any WRX/STI pretty much inside out but this libbie is a whole new ball game. Exciting times ahead!

Liberty 04-09...... Mcintosh 13 speaker
After much searching for a local replacement to my rear 8" speaker after the ring rotted out i have found a pop in replacement at soundlabs....
http://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/p/V-90 ... 00+-+4+Ohm
Needs a 10mm spacer but all else lines up and 50/80watt rating it won't stress the amp replacing the 35/70 mcintosh unit.
Postage 2/3rds price but cheap enough all round. Got mine $68 delivered to gold coast

I didn't want to upgrade the family car with big bucks but the rear speaker is a must to fill out the sound imho....

How does the sub sound? IS it better than the stock unit?
