I'd say Russ is open to suggestions...
Cheers. Yeah, I emailed Russ to let him know how my fitment went. Any feedback is good feedback and he can make a good product even better with his next revision. Not his fault that Liberty's come with so many different seat designs.

Meantime it gives me some motivation to find an electric passenger seat as my next upgrade.

Indeed - the main reason for that is to avoid any mishaps from passengers getting into the car - don't want the key accidentally pulled out or the nozzle damaged.

So I either need longer bolts and spacers or trim the mats.
My rubber mats have a large lip on them to contain spillages, and thus it doesn't fit under the extinguisher but that's not so bad.

The ext bracket is fairly beefy so the extra reinforcing washers are probably not required

I found the holder frame that comes with the Bunnings extinguisher is great - very stiff and rigid against the Kap bracket with a solid grip on the extinguisher. I drilled the holes with a 3/16" drill bit, popped in two 3/16" x 1/2" screws with a single pair of 3/16" washers and nuts (also from Bunnings), and was very satisfied with the result. Clean and tight, and the screws were the perfect length without needing any modification either!
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...
