Hahaha didnt think i explained that correctly

I have an un bored or honed 100 mm sleeved block

I need a piston to suit.

IE i will need an oversize 100mm actual diameter piston as then we can bore and hone to the size that is required to suit the piston.

So seeing as the sleeve is already at 100mm then i need a piston to suit an over size 100 mm bore.!

Yes!!??

From a beer discussion just had about oil pumps!!

Is there any need for an upgraded oil pump for 300kw atw ( eventually)

Never asked the question to the builder??

Any thoughts? Whats the limit of the factory oil pump??

Well installed them at a height then a few days later I dropped it another 8mm.

THAT 8mm caused it to touch the boot and I didn't even know, or even think of looking at the bottom of the strut to check if it was poking out some 3 odd inches!!!

Bloody hell. Now its booked in for Tuesday to get them replaced!!! YEY to me!!!

So ive done some investigation on my oil pump.

I have a 10mm oil pump that is good for stock or even mildly modified motor/power. You can get cosworth 12mm or JDM 12mm ones, price is double for cossie.

Since im doing this build once and properly then im gunna order a 12mm jdm oil pump for the future targets. It 'may' not be necessary but it will build some reliability into the motor and seeing as I now have cams and valves springs to take the rev limit to 8k then I may as well use that and be safe with the extra pressure from the JDM pump.
