XXR 527 causing shake at 100km/hr

So we've just had a set of XXR 527 18" 8.75 offset +38 running 225/40/18 tyres fitted. Ever since they were put on theres a mad shake on the hwy. We've had them balanced and aligned half a dozen times, replaced the front bushes, checked everything. Had one tyre place say a couple of the rims have excessive run off then other guys say thier fine. Currently have 2 new tyres on the rear but it still shakes. Put our stock rims on to make sure we weren't going insane and their perfect.
Has anyone experienced a problem like this? Could it just be crap tyres?

What is "excessive run off"?

If they have been balanced and are balanced then they shouldn't vibrate.
If they have been balanced and the person wasn't able to get them to properly balance then they could vibrate but the person should have told you they weren't actually balanced.

You say 2 of the tyres are new, what are the other two? How old are they and have they seen a hard life?
Are they quality tyres or kwality tyres?

We've been told excessive run off is being slightly out of round. But the guys we bought the rims off say they are fine.
There are centric rings on them, have had those checked.
The front tyres are brand new as well, they are Unigrips (pretty crap but thats what came in the package) They have switched the rears from Unigrips to Keter (never heard of them!) to see if that was the problem.
They have been balanced properly, but have lots of weights on them which is pointing even more towards the rims being the issue.
One guy has said it could be the tyres causing it so want to get a good brand name set on to try them out.

A bee's dick out of shape and you'll notice it above 100k. If you bought the wheels new, find out which one is out of wack and send it back.

Get new tyres all round. Get balanced at somewhere else. Should be fixed after that.

Balancers have told you it has excessive run off but they seller says theyre fine?

Id go with balancing and get the wheel replaced or $$ back.

Id never replace only 2 tyres at a time on a Subaru either How worn are the fronts? Shake will only be felt from the front two wheels also. Swapped them to rear?

As Jack said, get it balanced somewhere else if you havent already.

yep we had it balanced elsewhere, tried brand new tyres on front and rear and that didnt change it either so the seller has ordered 4 new rims, so hopefully thats all it was. Will find out on thursday!

Yep, sound like this...you may need spacers so the center bore of the wheel matches your hub...usually on those wheels they have a large bore so it can fit all cars. If you don't get them then once you get up in speeds you will feel vibration as there is space for them to move around.

Any wheel place will have them and pretty cheap.

Hub centric rings are also not a necessity and wouldn't really be related to vibration unless your lugs are loose.
A set of tapered lugs will keep the wheel on centre without the rings.

You sure there are centric rings on them?did you put them in? I've got the same wheels and they didn't come with centric rings. I've got no problems at all with vibrations at any speed.

I ran my WORK 11R's and a number of others without hub rings with zero issues.

Its the wheel, plain and simple.
