No it's not an EJ25.
Full engine code:- EJ20XDLBJE
Dual variable cam timing
Compliance date:- 03/05
Apparently an EJ20Y is the same engine.
I am getting the feeling that I might have more chance finding rocking horse poo !!

Definately diamond encrusted !!

Apparently, the short motor is EJ20 sti spec with forged internals, nitrided crank but open deck. Although another source has said he thinks it's semi-closed. As far as subaru oz go, unable to supply long motor, nor cylinder heads, only list an sti spec short motor. This then reaffirms that it is sti short engine. However, I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes !!

So back to the search to 'Bag a Yeti' !!
