Here i will be posting the build on my Subaru Liberty 2.5 MY06 Wagon.

Stock as a rock when i got it. Did the first mod i could do was the grill, but looked horrible so went back to stock.

Nice car, but I'm sorry - the fake Brembo brake covers aren't cool...

I personally wouldn't recommend HID headlights. They need to warm up so if you don't have them on for long periods of time it isn't ideal.

Don't get a K&N air filter as the oil messes with the MAF sensor.
Contact Garage 88 for a HKS foam filter. I have one and it's great. I noticed a difference and it is very easy to maintain.

Im not big on brembo covers either, but each to their own I say.

I had HIDs in my liberty like yours. Great mod in my opinion! They dont take long to warm up to full brightness, only about 30 seconds... not the end of the world. I would recommend adjusting your lights afterwards though as theyre much brighter than even factory HIDs and youll blind other drivers

I am looking for a cheap option, i want to paint my calipers white, and the only thing i can find which can replace that is the covers, as i cant find white caliper paint anywhere only red, and to be honest i think red calipers look worse then covers hahah!

Sorry I just saw a typo too, I recommend against HIGH BEAM HIDs. Low beams are fine but high beams aren't ideal as they need to warm up. Nothing wrong with low beams - my bad I was typing on my phone.

Each to their own. White painted calipers would look a lot better than the covers IMO.
You don't need brake caliper paint, just a paint with the heat rating necessary for brakes.
I used an anodized blue colour with a 500 degrees farrenheight rating and it has been fine for 12 months, so you should be able to find a white from your local Supercheap/Autobarn.

yeah thanks mate ill look into that, im mainly looking for HIDS do they sell at super cheap?

I got my set from Jaycar for $50. Best value and I have found them to be great quality. They only go up to 6000k though so if you want blue they're no good. I find 6000 is pure white with a hint of blue which is perfect for me - no police attention haha

no worries thanks Kody, what type of light am i looking for? or are they mainly universal for the libertys.

like if i go into supercheap and see a nice pair of lights will they guareentee fit a liberty or do sizes vary

Sizes vary. For the low beam and fog lights you want H7 & H3. Go for HIDs, they're excellent. I got mine from 95soarer off eBay quite a while ago and they're still going strong. If I had my time again I'd get 35w instead of 55w.

Car looks nicer with the white calipers, i dig it.

and the rear tail lights and the rear reverse lights blacked out, i dont know how i feel its growing on me what do you guys think?

Looks good, although I prefer the wheels in silver over black (I do generally dislike black wheels though so I'm biased).
Will look even better when a bit lower.

I think the tinted tail & reverse lights look fine, although I think they look fine stock too.

I would recommend rear sway bar upgrade before front.

As for lighting, like others have said, also consider colour matched halogens instead of hids for high beam & fogs.
Another source of lighting products is Leo viewforum.php?f=42 (nice guy to deal with).

Unless you want it for some increase in induction noise I wouldn't get a pod filter. Filter upgrades in general won't be a bang for buck mod. I really don't believe it gives a noticeable difference in anything.

Full exhaust I wouldn't bother with for NA. I would stick to just the muffler change.

Other suggestions are tinted windows and possibly a tune.

Yeah Rooby, im currently looking for some mufflers, at the moment but i want to get a louder note out of the car, and i think atleast half an exhaust will do that, because mufflers wont make that much difference will they? or do they change a bit.

Yes i was going to go a better air intake for increased noise, and the filter currently in it is old and could do with a change, and these is also a crack going down my filter box, and hence i work at supercheapauto, it is an easy cheap mod which i was looking for.

and yes im going for the tinted windows very soon just unsure as to where to go, and how dark to go.

Car is also getting lowered next sunday.

Changing the mufflers definitely changes the exhaust note. After all thats the part of the exhaust system that muffles the noise. Changing the pipe diameter will make the note deeper. You can do the mufflers first and see how they go. If not loud enough you can always do the cat back at a later date

yeah that is true adam, i think i will just find a nice set of quad tips, and if im satisfied ill be stoked, and if not ill just go full exhaust
