Same setup as day before, but different camera position this time (between exhausts, rear bar). Thanks to Jay Ritchie for the suggested camera mount location!

Managed to find a straight road in an industrial location (it had a chicane in the road about 1/3 from start)

Sounds great! Enjoying your clips. :D
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

i don't think anyone is discrediting the Auto, especially these days with DSG and much more responsive systems, theyre bloody fast (DR20T - prime example)... its just the sound, not the same IMO. would be nice to have on my daily commute however.

Thanks Corsair - wish I had some nice backroads closer by to give it a good squirt (not my best acceleration, but you get a good idea of the exhaust note)

well spotted! - i didnt realise how close it was to the photo location :) the back of rosehill is prolly the only place close enough for me to do this safely (ie less traffic and folks around).

I agree that manual would be more fun than auto... however it was a considered choice to get an auto (taking into sydney traffic flow, and my wife being more comfortable with an auto).

Anyways, after Matt waved his skills over it, I am more than happy with the compromise!

oh so you've already had another tune since the new exhaust?

yeah i take that back way home every now and then to let loose a bit after being stuck in heavy traffic. great stretch of road. and potentially great for future photo shoots

Havent had a tune since new exhaust.... Matt took upcoming exhaust into account when he did the retune post DP (about 2/3 months ago)

My comment was more around Matt tweaking the settings to make my slushbox more fun+quicker than before

Cheers, many thanks for the top feedback Andrew :D

I should have a few good pics from the Sydney meet today to post up later

Just two more mods that keep bugging me (which I really don't need to do  ).... however at the moment I have the cornering, braking, and driveability boxes ticked off to a level I am very satisfied with!

Oh yeah, a visit to reflect-effect for some OptiCoat protection is on the cards as well

I was backing up some of my photos n stuff this morning, and came across some of my earlier photos, as well as some of Jack's recent shots..... quick trip down memory lane!

Chillin' and cruisn' GoPro timelapse vid

No new mods in this update, but Jack and I ran a few timelapse photo sessions recently. A quick compilation of the short 'sprints' is below. Enjoy!

And no its not edited lens flare..... Jack's HIDs are really that bright!

And some of the better quality stills:
