Nah i wasn't keen on the sanding idea (too lazy). I've painted brakes using VHT before, and noticed a nice finish can be achieved depending on how you spray them, so mine ended up pretty smooth. Again- not immaculate, but pretty good.

I used Killrust, and I hand painted them to get a better finish. No spray cans here.
Killrust is self priming so nothing needed other than do a coat and let it dry, then do the next one. Although generally a lighter coat with the first one is recommended.

now I'm seeing where this 3-4 days is adding up. thats dedication. I didn't even think of hand painting them. At least you wouldn't have to mask up!

Because these are the ones that YOU advised me to get a while ago haha.
There's a straight, extruded line on these calipers so I doubt rounded would have worked too well.

I just lined the bottom line of the sticker up with the cast line. It looks good!

Had some fluid's leaking over the past couple of days, it ended up being the inner ring of the drivers side gear box seal. Probably got pinched when the drive shafts were replaced!

The car is shy of its 100k birthday, 99200ish. I'm not sure if i should be happy or not. Celebrating a cars age seems ironic.

No big mods as of the past couple of months, just a few little ones...

- Changed the Cree parkers to Phillips Ultinons- not as bright but they light up the lens' better- the hid lows/fogs and new parkers look so good at night!

- Front 6" speaker was rattling so i bought some replacement Mcintosh speakers from a member and that problems been solved... it was pretty annoying

- And last week i switched from the Anycarlink 1080A (iPod and USB) to the 1080B (Bluetooth/Aux/USB). Loving the HQ bluetooth streaming, I'm impressed by the quality. All phone calls now go through the car speakers with a microphone fitted, and navigation plays through the speakers too after it dims the music.

I'm jumping on the new SS raptor headers as soon as they're available, and then organising a re-tune from Matt for the end of November.
I'm not touching the centre or Y pipe as i like the sound it puts out with the HITECH muffs (And i don't want it any louder).
Still not sure about the cats either, i may leave them or swap to good quality 100cel cats. Will decide later.

Can't wait for a bit more power. It'll be an impressive 6cyl P-plater car after that mod!
