Hey peeps

I'm in the need to get front strut tops to fit some BC coil overs, got some gen 3 coils at a great price that are almost brand new. So where do I get them from and are there any other ones to consider ?? Ie cusco??

I'm just running the standard billy strut tops. Required a bush to be made to slip over the strut and to stop any strut top looseness.

Looking to get camber adjustable tops soon though. I know XYZ can supply them, which I'm leaning towards to match the coilovers. I assume other brands would be similar. Just need to ask the other companies the inner diameter of the camber top and make sure it's the same as the strut diameter.

However, they only sell off the shelf for a few brands of coilovers.

If they don't have anything that matches yours you have to send them the measurements of your coilovers and they custom make them.

With these and the dms plates though you are spending almost half the cost of your 4 coilovers for 2 camber plates, which if it were my money I would think is a bit excessive.
If you got the bcs at a great price these plates could even cost the same amount.

The cusco ones are cheaper (again, I don't know if they will fit bc coilovers or not), and I assume the bc ones would be cheaper again.

In theory, what you are getting by paying more is something more robust, made from better components, and in some cases more adjustability.
Depends on whether you need/want those things and are willing to pay the premium for them.

Yeh it just does depend on the $$$ for them?? The strut top tho is one of those places that coils can be noisy with, so maybe it's not a bad idea to source something a little better?? Dunno just depends on the $$$

Absolutely baller stuff!
Let me know if you get a price on the adjustable, otherwise I'll be calling them myself after I get my rear arms sorted in a couple of months. I'm guessing they're about $500-ish

Ive just ordered the BC strut top.

$250 for the both of them and they bolt on straight onto the gen 3 coils= win!

Rang them today and he said he packed and sent it his morning so it will be delivered hopefully Monday / Tuesday .

Now to get the strut tops and gets me some lllllooooooowwwwww!!

Do u have to do the roll centre adjuster?? What about those rear camber bolts ??

Got rear camber bushes yes. Set on max POSITIVE

I don't know anyone that has roll centre adjusters, a few have castor correction bushes though (worth it if you're Schumacher)

My rear PS is at -3 and the DS is at -2. I need camber bushes to correct them.
Get an alignment straight after you install the coils, and that'll give you an idea if you need them or not.
