I thought this afternoon would be a good chance to see if i could strip the Work CR Kai's aftermarket matte black paint off, so i attacked it with a multi purpose thinner, and success! The first wheel turned out awesome, with the original Work grey in perfect condition underneath.

The second wheel was going good, till i ran out of thinner and daylight. I managed to finish the front side of the wheel, but not the side of the spokes or the insides.
I'll have to finish that when i do the other two wheels.

Overall the fresh side of the car looks really cool. A completely different feel with the car now, to describe it i'd say "sportier" and no-more "stealth".
The red lug nuts look 100 times better, and the wheels look quality now, something they were lacking with the flat paint on them before.

Heres some quick snaps.

Are you letting the thinners soak for a while? Weird that you ran out on 1 wheel and a half? Looks nice never the less.

The thinners work after being on the wheel for 10 seconds. i basically soak a cloth in it, rub it on, wait a bit then rub.
Yeah i only bought 1 tin of it, 1L ish just to see if it would work. I finished the first wheel and knew i wouldn't have enough to finish the second, but i didn't want to drive around with one grey wheel for the next week haha.

Heres the latest photos of the "refurbished" Work CR Kai's.
The dropbox photos are way better quality so peak at those.
