What did you use to tint the foglights? was it a special film (over the lens), or a replacement unit altogether?
Hahaha! Yeah, was over a year ago iirc.
For the fog light, I'm using light black film i got of ebay here. Works ok, but I'm running LED fog light bulbs so the lens stays pretty cool compared to the original halogen globes which i'm sure would burn the film. For the bezel, I used black chrome wrap also off ebay lol. Best $10 mod ever Gonna see how long they last til I get serious and buy the good stuff from Avery and/or 3m etc.
Haven't updated in a while, but the Foz has been getting a few goodies here and there.
1. Whiteline 24mm front Swaybar - The Handling of the Foz now feels right! 2. NGK Iridium 1 Step colder plugs 3. DW 750cc Injectors 4. DW65 Fuel pump and New Fuel Filter 5. Innovate LC-1 Wideband 6. Installed rear calipers done in Brembo Gold to match the fronts Brembos 7. HKS ES Premium mufflers - The Boxer sound without the drone 8. PROSPORT Halo Boost Gauge - Matches the Forester Cluster nicely!
The Foz has now been tuned for both 98ron petrol and E85 by Eric of Torque Performance and I am insanely happy with the out come! On E85, the Foz really gets up and move with broken traction being a usual occurrence when I put my foot down wish I did it sooner.
Here's some pics of the various parts, enjoy!
The boost gauge
The rear brakes
The Beautiful HKS ES Premium mufflers
Sound clip here is with the XForce dump with single rear high flow cat, stock forester mid pipe, and the HKS mufflers. I had to take off my STi mid pipe and revert back to the stock ones to keep the sound levels a little more family friendly.
<GB> wrote:That boost gauge looks really good with the dash ! Where did u mount the a/f?
Thanks man. I haven't mounted the a/f gauge yet as I've been using the LC-1 directly to a pc. But it will be mounted like this: I stole your pic Sean Perrin lol.

(hope I played a small role in swaying you towards the ES premiums )
cant say I'm a fan of the brembo decals on the rear calipers to be honest (but thats just my opinion)
Hahaha! You did play a big part SYM, I've always loved the HKS ESP, but never heard one in real life til I met up with you. The rear brakes were done by cruisn and he did a spectacular job. I'm really happy with them.
Not being 100% content with my HKS ES Premium mufflers due to the slight in cabin resonance/drone it had when paired with my exhaust setup and 4EAT tranny, I decided to try another pair of mufflers. The drone the HKS had was minimal and not even half as bad a the STi quads I had before, but it was there and made long trips a little uncomfortable for the family.
Here's my new mufflers... Prova by Fujitsubo Black Stainless mufflers. The sound is nice, there's no in cabin drone, so everyone's happy! Also, thanks BigBadBenny for the helping me with my million questions , thanks mate.
On the car:
Here's a vid taken with iPhone. Notice that engine noise starts to drown out exhaust sound as RPM rises... Freeway speeds are family friendly.
Thanks boostaddict, I'm really really happy with them
The current exhaust setup is just a mild steel Xforce dump with a single rear hi flow cat, mated to the stock Forester mid pipe, then the Prova mufflers. I might be leaving a couple of KWs up top on the table, but a couple of top end KWs in exchange for livable, family friendly sound and nicer low end torque is a good trade off for me.
Totally lovin the look of all the black chrome on white! I'd be investing in those exact DTMs if I ever needed new rims as they're the same spec as my center crater RS+M but with all that concave...
