Ok it got looked at today and no fault codes had come up but they tracked it down to a badly cracked vacuum line, all fixed and idles perfect, thanks guys!

$100, part was only $8 but most of it was labour trying to diagnose/find faulty hose. They also discovered the front wheel bearings are due for replacement so they have done me a quote to send off for the stat warranty.

The saga continues, been going in for stat warranty work for months now and still not fixed... Replaced vacuum lines, coils, plugs, upper cylinder clean etc, still does it, they tell me there is no way it could be an oxygen sensor or it would have shown a fault, I'm think oxy sensor, injectors or maf sensor, going to just start trying myself haha. Doesn't affect the driving just pisses me off every time we stop and idle... Will keep you posted!

Start with a/f sensor. Common fault.

Got to the point where we just wanted to sell it and get something else, but it's perfect for what we need! I know what your saying though its just a constant thing, got to replace the factory sub and a few other speakers now they are crackling lol

They don't have an iacv as they have fly by wire ignition

Only cable throttles have iacv as the ecu can't control the throttle plate.

I think your problem is beyond the injectors. Do them if its cheap but dont bother if they are gonna cost a furtune. They would usually throw codes anyway.

Really not sure where to go from here, it showed a low voltage code last time it was plugged into the diagnostic equipment, there is a Subaru specialist I've found about 45mins away I might try get it booked in on my next day off. Will try cleaning the air flow metre tomorrow
