I pray that I have money for when this batch is made. I may just start eating 2 min noodles until I have enough.

The sample we supplied has arrived at the fabrication premises finally - the jigs and dies are being formed/made with great urgency

I will confirm in a couple of days as to when the first sample should be shipping out to us.

I have attached an example of what a stainless steel header looks like for those who havent seen them before

So do you make a transparent body for everyone to see these beautiful headers???????????????????????????????????

Slight revision changes occurred in Dec last year, we simply added more welding around the collector joints

The only other revision is from mild steel to stainless steel metal

@ Tim

Good to see more progress on this project :D

Just delving into the technical details, how will the headers marry up with the stock exhaust? I'd read on some other thread here a week or so ago that one needs to cut the stock headers just before the first set of cats, and weld the new headers in at that spot. Is that right? And am I correct in assuming the internal diameters of the new headers / existing pipes will line up?

The exhaust must be always installed by an exhaust shop - there is one cut and one weld per side.

The factory pipe between the stock header and the cat is a double skinned piece, for this reason the outflow of the header doesn't mate perfectly flow wise to the stock exhaust.

The really exceptional thing is all our results and most customer results have been achieved from
set up as described above - maybe you could do even better, however the up to 30kw gains @7000rpm from this arrangement just keep coming

Always to be fitted by an exhaust specialist - the only recommendation

Hi Tim,

Very interested in a set of the new headers. I've read your previous posts explaining why cats aren't included and also some posts by other members, some who recommend upgrading to 100/200 cell and others who say stock cats are fine. I would plan on removing the 3rd cat.

Do you have any feedback from customers running upgraded vs stock cats? Any significant increase in performance or exhaust noise?

Also is the stock cat 2 1/2 inch? Wondering if something like this would be suitable: http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/produ ... 716eac0c77.

Thanks and looking forward to the new headers.
