So how much did a set end up costing? If you don't mind me asking.

It really depends on what everyone ordered. For my 2006 Libery MY06 3.0R SpecB wagon, I bought the Hawk Performance Ceramics which set me back a total of about $203.00 as seanmau5 has pointed out.

Not bad at all considering they're sold for MUCH more over here. The supplier was happy to wipe any and all shipping/handling fees as well based on the number of brake pads that were ordered. I am definitely interested in doing the group buy again in the near future, and might even add Goodridge and other products into the mix.


To those that requested postage, I finished work a little later today and was way too busy to have made it to a post office in time to send them off. I will definitely be sending them off tomorrow morning so you will receive them early to mid next week. Sorry about any inconvenience this has caused. To everyone else that would like to pick them up from me, please let me know via private message if you haven't already done so. I will give you my number and we can select agreed times that suit us both.

I will also be attending the Macrex BBQ at ICHIban tomorrow afternoon. I should be there from midday till about 3 PM so I am more than happy to bring the brake pads along with me for you to collect. Just give me a yell. Thanks guys.

More than welcome Shayne. Great to meet you the other day and a mighty fine wagon you got yourself.

I'll definitely be running more of these group buys. So far I have decided to run them whenever I am due for new pads, however I am currently in negotiation with the supplier to see whether I can start selling these myself here in Australia at the discounted price. We'll see how we go. Still much more planning and stuff to go on but if all goes well, I will be able to get everyone Hawk Performance brake pads, Goodridge braided lines and brake discs (pretty sure they're DBA).

got my rears fitted this morning!!! was planning to machine rotors and put new pads in but was told rotors were that rooted that i needed to get new rear rotors
