Yeah I know that Smythie :)

I've already got a 6 LED board in there and its brighter and whiter but compared to my old car (which was like daytime with the map lights on) its still very dull!

Hey....

Why have my LED bulbs gone out in the parkers?? and the ones i have put in the number plate lights are flashing (AKA Dying)

this happened on my last car too. Is it because the car is not a steady 12V and is more like 13-14V? and as such is burning out the LEDS?

Its really frustrating but looks like I'll be going back to incandescent for now

..

It shouldn't be. 13.8V is the normal voltage in a car with the engine running.

have you considered that the lights aren't fully secure in the holders? It took me a bit of fiddling to get the parkers to work reliably

I have considered that Smythie. What did you fix it with tape? adhesive? moving the globe around etc?

moving the globe around, bending the contacts on the wedge end of the globe as well.

What model do you have?
Most can be accessed from the engine bay. Sometimes you have to move a bit of plastic to get at it.

refer to your manual ... it tells you a lot ...
or i would suggest get mechanic to change it for you ... if you don't even know where it is ...

if your in Sydney i'll help you change them for you.

You can access it from behind the lamp assembly. It will be a long, thin holder & you'll need to twist it 90deg (can't remember which way) to remove it.

I recently did my park lights I found it no problem changing them ... However I did have to take out the air intake but not the air box. I have big hands and I had no problem even on the passenger side. Didn't have to remove anything. My car is an 05 sedan non turbo
