But will these cheap ebay jobs clear brembo's? on a gen4?

I'd say yes, FWIW, I have maybe 30mm clearance @ flat faced 8.5 x +35 :)

keep in mind benny that your spokes are very big calliper friendly.

having said that, real TE37's are big calliper friendly too but we cant be too sure about these copies.
