Will probably end up calling AVO AUS directly and ordering the TB pipe for now, and then order the MAF and inlet on Jackson's return.

So I would assume an exhaust change, say going to 3" pipe work all round but use stock mufflers, decent dump pipe, spray kit and retune would net me close to 165-175kwatw roughly? How did MSR put it to you that he could get that type of power those minimal mods? Im all for getting the most out of the current system, but it does seem hard to believe.

E85 Vf52 supporting mods & tune 12psi(but ill skip the e85)
Stock 2.5t's are clearly delicate, Outfront Motorsports reccomend closed decking at even moderately high boost pressures.

Newbie GT wrote:Doesn't it come down to the tuner ? The maintenance and of course being realistic with power outcomes and boost pressures ?

Coyote ran a high energy fuel, with a turbo that has slightly better top end than stock, at a low boost level, for a sensible, safe, no doubt responsive power output.
Supported with a pump and injectors iirc.
Take my comments at face value, do your research and come to your own conclusions.
There's just too much focus on getting max power and not enough focus on getting the conditions right to make any power at all over stock.
Its the owners and to an extent, tuners, plus some peer group pressure.
Its not an issue I have with my tuner, thankfully. He knows where my afr's, boost levels and IDC's etc are at. So do I
But this discussion has no place in a members thread and I'll move my comments to a new thread in the 2.5T discussion forum, entitled something like:
"The 2.5T cannae take it, Captain! She's breaking up!!!"
