Armor All Custom Shield...exactly the same as Plastidip

Just looking through Supacheap Auto's catalogue and saw this new product called Armor All Custom Shield.

Initial thoughts - looks like PlastiDip.

After further research it appears that Performix Brand products is the manufacture of Plasti Dip and also manufactures Armor All Custom Shield. i.e. The contents of these two cans is exactly the same product.

Several forums on the internet based in the US are saying don't waste your money on Armor All Custom Shield because it's exactly the same product as Plastidip, but $10 more expensive. Fortunately for us in Australia, it's around $10 cheaper than Plastidip and there's 89mL extra in the Armor-All spray can! Thank you Armor-All! Now....go crazy dipping everryyythinggg!

I'm hardly a fan of Plastidip for quality work (did my wheels once) but it's good stuff for temporary or small stuff.

Here's a comparison between the two products with no actual differences in the content of the can (other than available colours):

Much easier to come by if it's sold at supercheap.

I might get a can to give it ago.
