We finished the brake upgrade last Sunday, all went smoothly apart from my mate playing with the garage door remote while the wheels were leaning against the door,
resulting in door becoming stuck amongst the wheels. Bloody numnut Hard to get good help sometimes. .

Tim, yeah she stops pretty awesome now. Glad to be rid of that horrible shuddering and a much firmer pedal feel. Hawk Performance Ceramics
have been up to task so far, nice solid bite and what seems like low - medium dust at this stage.
Instills confidence knowing speed can be washed off very quickly and I love the feeling of my eyes pulsing out the front of my melon.

On another note my 3D floor mats turned up 2day, these are awesome and a third of the price of the K2 Gear ones.
Will post some shots when car has had a good clean n vac.

Cheers lads, appreciate the nooice comments. I guess ive become a little ocd about keeping the wheels, tyres n calipers clean.

The T3's are definitely worth upgrading too, not too much dearer than T2's with the ability to handle much more heat over a long period > a lot longer before they warp.

Nathan I got them off GSL Rallysport for a great price after a bit of haggling.

Great pics and finally a pic of the clutch pedal cutout.
I'd incorporate that into the much larger footrest cutout...

Thanx Ben and yeah I need to enlarge the clutch notch out by about 5mm. Don't quite have full clearance at the moment.

Intend to fix this today.

I understand what you posted elsewhere about the footrest cover section being a bit off a problem, but ill stick with it as is for the moment.

Thinking I might try 2 Velcro attachments. One behind the footrest and one just to the left of the clutch pedal to stop the mat moving so much at that point.

Guessing Im not too keen on chopping at these awesome mats too much at this early stage.

Yeah I left it till the footrest area was worn enough that I could cut with confidence.

Ill wait till ive got some wear on the footrest before I cut the whole bit out. Could be sooner but, getting a little pissed by it already.

Made the clutch notch-out a tad bigger yesterday, plenty of clearance now.

After a couple of few hundred kays of bedding in the new brake set-up they finally got a bit of a workout over the last few days.
Pushed em pretty hard for a sustained 1/2 half hour a coupla times and the improvement over stock is marked, also quiet and no more shudder.

Matt the front of ur Fozzy has probably still got me covered though. But this package is still very good, impressed with the Hawk PC's.

Any dramas with urs yet Nathan. Ive attempted to post this a few times now without success as the f***ing internet kept losing signal.

I modified the poly bush and made an alloy washer to suit - problem solved - well so far, did it 3 weeks ago.

Oh I missed this post, Grant.

I did notice that the edge did squeeze out a little on one side, but not as much as your pictured.

Love the ingenuity though at least I know how to rectify the problem if necessary!
