Had a busy afternoon.
Went around to Owens to install HID fog lights... while i was doing that he removed the intake resonator (tried- he couldn't handle the h6 engine bay).
He also swapped the front OEM brake pads with some hawk ceramics in about 3 minutes. Now i know how to do it myself!

In conjunction with the Hitech mufflers, the removal of the resonator sounds really good. It's basically like someone turned the treble down, making it a flatter sound.
The new fog lights match the low beams perfectly, and i no longer have to deal with shitty brakes.

Successful afternoon.

the lights look fantastic.

I just bought and yet to fit the Phillips Crystal visions for my fogs and parkers to get rid of the crappy yellow too. But your HID foggies look sick. Nice job.
Cheers

Thanks Shav,
Yeah I had Phillips globes for the fogs and low beams for a while.
The hid fogs are nice as they actually light up the road and give you more peripheral vision than just the low beams.

The new wheels came with a set of brand new Achilles 123 semi slicks, i'll try to sell them, but if i can't ill use them till their death.
They're damn sticky, and even perform decent in the wet. If they weren't so noisy they'd be keepers. 4wd tyre spec.

The new pads also take a good beating.
I've been doing the proper "heel-toe" instead of using the left and ride side of my feet... I might stick the gopro in the footwell so i can admire my amateur footwork.

Can you please remove your avatar with the homo rims now that you've got some decent ones? If you don't I'll take back my brake pads while you sleep. Let's see you heel toe that shit.

Very tidy wagon mate :good: Nice height, nice wheels!

I like the chrome sill strip too, breaks it up a little and ties with the roof rails.

Also thats a seriously nice garage, very jealous
