Hahaha wow 4/10 for s-techs.. Was so close to buying them!

Speaking of buying, The Swifts for the GT would they fit fine for the 3.0RB's as my previous post explains

I'm actually getting them for a decent price, Had a look direct/online/ebay/other vendors. So I'm pretty stoked!

Yes Comfort, Daily driven not going to track or anything.
The J Speed LCA bushings are already killing me lol..

If bushes are killing you and comfort is high on your list, stick with STi springs or IMO get Swifts.
There is a set of wagon swifts in the FS section, lots of people in the states put wagon specific springs into sedans to stop the saggy bum effect.
I would say the price is a little on the high side though.

What is the problem with swift springs in 3RB?? Bilsteins are the same in GTB and 3RB. I think engine is a little heavier in 3, so if anything the front will sit maybe 5mm lower, which would look good IMO.

That's what I was thinking also, He only stated: "My only concern is the difference in dampening from the GT to the 3.0R".
He said he would offer a full refund if It didn't work. Which is really great of him!

I think you'll be happy with the Swifts, plus can always sell them if you don't.

I've got a 3.0RB too. I bought Epic Engineering springs from the USA 'meant' for the GTs but they fit and work fine in my sedan.

I used to have the Teins. I'd rate them 2/10 for comfort and 1/10 for the drop being too much at the rear. Handling was very very good on smooth roads but in Sydney how often do you get that?

You should be fine with both fitment and comfort. My Epics are Ok and whilst I should have gone for the Swifts straight from the Teins, I'm going the coilovers route which Ihoshe have done from day one, as I'm fussy and want to have the car set up exactly the way I want it without the endless hassle of mixing shocks and springs.

You should be fine with both fitment and comfort.

I guess, I'm just going to buy them and hope they sit how I seen them on the Aus GTB's.
I'm sure it can't be too different.

Gtbee how do you rate the epics?
Iirc they are on the same (awesome) level as swifts: low coil count, not too harsh...

I've never been in a Liberty with Swifts, but I do rate the Epics 8/10 for comfort. They are reasonable supple in most conditions. They are "supposed" to be re branded Eibachs, which are by most accounts a quality spring with appropriate drop and increase in firmness.

Handling I'd say is 7/10, as whilst they are supposed to be progressive they don't firm up as much as I'd like when I start to push the car and I get a bit more body roll than I should, and I've got Cusco roll bars front and rear. Having said that I certainly could not describe the car as bring sloppy with them fitted.

The drop is very slight, hardly lower that standard.

You mentioned coil count. From memory the rears have a lot of coils. Id like my rear to be a bit stiffer so I don't get that feeling of weight transfer. So that's consistent with my feeling that the rear springs should be firmer.

I probably would have got my coilovers around now but I've had some substantial unexpected household expenses, so I've postponed them.

When I get them I'll be selling the Epics as I've still got the original RB springs should I want to revert the car to stock when I sell it.

ive had my Tein s-techs on for a week now.
i love the drop. perfect balance of drop in height whilst still practical.
i think it looks great. got pics in my build thread if you wanna see.
they are definitely firmer. but i dont think theyre harsh.
handling is much better.
basically i love them!!!
