Where it connects to the throttle body the connection might not be sealed properly, especially if you have an aftermarket TMIC.

lol yeah I have one too that I never fitted, too much hassle to try refit my TMIC....don't wanna risk snapping the bolts to the turbo.

A bit of magic pixie dust seems to have cleared the issue, maybe it was that time of the month for the old girl.

I'm actually going to put it down to a bad batch of fuel from Shell (Upper Ferntree Gully). Always thought there was much of a muchness, but i'm going to roll with BP from now on.

From all the logging I did I found whilst tuning, I found United P100 quality most unreliable. Next was She'll fuel. Too often I'd find pulled timing on these fuels.

BP was great as well as Safeway fuel.

I think a lot of this is also dependent on the outlet.

Spot on! I don't usually use that Shell and come to think of it, i've actually heard their fuel may not be 100% as it should be.

yeah I do and im the process off ordering the silicone hose kit.

BP Ultimate is.

Or is it boosted to 98RON like Caltex 98 is.?

All other things being equal (specific power, cleanliness and chemical composition of the mix), does it actually matter?
