Having fun in Brissy at S Expo.
Getting back to basics: our loaner car up here is a (nearly) mechanically perfect, cosmetically disastrous '91 Mazda 121 bubble, with stick most joyously.

Such a great little city car ;)

I landed it with some other bits to save on shipping (and my conscience) so I'd on-sell this for $625 plus post.
It makes the STI steering wheel seem like the most awesome value!
It would have been an even better deal but the dollar went to crap.
I love it but the Alcantara is really taking some getting used to, even if it does suit my slightly-tending-to-sweaty hands.
Probably will keep it and track down the armrest, handbrake and 6mt boots in red stitch alcantara to match.
A matching Recaro drivers seat would be pretty trick too ;)

This new and important addition to my PPE is the only STi branded item in my Lib.
Big thanks to Rob on Rexnet for the opportunity to buy this windproof golf brolly at a reasonable price.
(The Docklands STi numberplate frames and the STi Genome front strut brace are, technically, on my Lib ;) )

OH wow.
Airbags in those seats?

There's the choice of special order either from Redlinegoods in the USA or Zero Sports in J both offering covers and boots in red stitched alcantara for C$150...

Yes airbags in - they are from a 2006 3.0R spec.B - I haven't connected the airbags yet - partly because I am not sure that they will function correctly - or if they will blow up when the connection is first made LOL

Doing the red stitch yourself wouldn't take long on just the brake lever and gear gaitors...

I reckon if you didn't go across the airbag panels, you'd be fine.

How the heck do these go together anyway?

What I need is some man amongst men god-of-mod type dude to meticulously machine some little stepped washer type thingies to hold these on ;)
