Do your own research on the parts you need.
Be certain about what you want.
Don't crap-on (tough one for me that).
Do as you say you will without fail.
Read the fine print.
Pay immediately.
Lavish praise for thorough work, great packing and fast service ;)

Universal advice. Apply to every purchase ever.

Wheel looks fappable Ben!

Had a little peek (and fap) before I jumped on the treadly this morning. Needs more daytime pics for sure.
I got mine from an LGT forum buddy in the USA. It was a swap... (for Jakes Liberty letters ;) plus I bought some cool stuff from this guy )
The black swcs are off either GRB or GVB STi or WRX...

http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/wrxsti2011.html
Scroll about 1/4 way down this page for pics.
The stock LHS SWC's I had on my Lib are 6 button, but the black SWC's I got are 5 button, so I'll just swap the black 5 button fronts onto the 6 button switches...
This worked fine but I'm up for swapping out if anyone has black 6 button left SWC type.

Basically the 5 button left SWC is for MY08+ afaik with the phone compatible stereo. The RHS cruise buttons are the same.
The MY07 & MY08+ SWC harnesses are slightly different, but the buttons, covers, rubber switch pads and circuits are all interchangeable.

I believe the black SWC's are available from OEM spare parts suppliers, I'll google up the parts numbers or ask at Makin and Luby.

Yes AND no...

Thats just the 5 button cover and buttons on top of the original 6 button keypad part.
So if I use it like a rocker switch it should still work as a 2 button mode/mute.

It would be a cinch to wrap the buttons and covers given how easily they come apart. This much I know.

The GRV WRX STi wheel is off and FS, get in before her Ladyship insists on its return.
(flying up to Brissy tomorrow if anyone interested up there)

My next move may be an alcantara cover for my worn out stocker, or maybe even a PROVA O wheel.

Who me? GUILTY :P

Turns out, I completely forgot her Ladyship has an extreme insensitivity to things with the texture of peach fuzz.
It makes her shiver.
Looks like ill be investing in some driving gloves cos the alcantara giving us both goosebumps (for entirely different reasons).
