New tyres for lib sedan, advice?

Postby shredden » Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:32 pm

Hey guys,

First post here. Need a new set of tyres for the family car, its a 2005 liberty sedan on stock wheels. We do a lot of driving on rough and rocky gravel roads, probably like 1000kms a year. Not a fan of the current tyres, they are fairly cheap (~180 a corner) and ATM we are replacing them from the sidewalls getting cut up a long time before they are actually wearing out. On our old foz it would be very rare to get a flat, now we get them quite regularly and have to drive very conservatively. Any suggestions for tyres with a thicker sidewall? Maybe something like a rallycross tyre haha?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but it was a 2002 model and the tyres were much bigger.
