You probably saw my white gen 3 liberty or me walking around waiting. I'll come say hi next time! Sucks about ASG, my mate is about to get his sti tuned there should I be warning him?

I would suggest that they test the car carefully after getting the tune and make sure theyre happy. If theyre not, they have to speak up and dont listen to ASGs excuses. Sean is known to do a decent tune but his attitude is bad and he'll give a car with problems back to you and hope you dont notice. Its blindingly obvious from my dyno result that something is very wrong but he gave the car back without mentioning it and tried to talk his way out of fixing it. This time wasnt even the first time hes done that to me.

Hey Mike.

Welcome to the forums, awesome list of mods you have there. And you must call Matt from KiDo. His next trip here should be Nov/Dec from what I remember.

And yeh that was a reason I decided against going to ASG - too many horror stories. But I have been told Sean is good at what he does but the rest of his crew are a question mark. Much rather have my car with the crew at STechnic - I only trust them!

Do come along to the next cruise - 2 August :)

Does your car plate end with 195 or smtg close?

I'd agree. But even though he does have a good tuning rep I dont think he knows enough about tuning Libertys. Program is quite different to Impreza. He really has completely bollocksed my tune. I would be more forgiving about it but his attitude is apaulling. Thats what really gets me. He doesnt want to help. Focuses on excuses and bullshit instead of offering help to make it better. When my turbo failed to maintain boost he should have called and discussed options for proceeding but instead he gave the car back and tried to convince me it was normal.

I'd like everything working before November so I think I might give Kidos email remote tuning a go and then when Matt comes I'll get him to do fine tune in person. Getting tired of having to wait 3-4 seconds before I can overtake someone then getting 1.5 seconds of boot up the arse before it dies off again.

Doesnt sound like my plate. Ends in a 2.
I'll be away second of August. Also I'd like to get my car detailed before crusing again. Bad surface scratching on the left side... Bonnet machine-gunned with chips that have revealed the undercoat... Dirt layer thicker than the paint... Need some paint repair and serious detailing. I feel kinda bad letting it get to this state .

Well I could do with one of those. The only photos I have of my car are the ones the dealer took before I bought it (e.g. my forum avatar). Still looks the same though. I just added a carbon fibre lip spoiler, 3mm coat of filth, and numerous chips and scratches.

Anyone know what a safe boost level would be? I asked for 17.5psi. It peaks at 17.89psi which I'm not so comfortable with. I've heard some people say not to go too far above 16psi. Sounds a bit low, but I can really afford to blow this engine.

Matt set mine to 17.6 in S# (he can probably confirm this more accurately).

Hopefully it's safe. There's no way I can afford a rebuild if anything blows.
