Check the BOV vacuum hose has not popped off ;)

It indicates a vacuum leak under idle, where air is not being measure by the MAF sensor

It only started after i finished the rest of the exhaust off. Then had it tuned and it didnt fix it.

It seems to be happening every 3 days or so.... Fecking annoying

Took it to Subapoo today as they said they would tell me exactly what it was as their scan tool can tell what sensor is facucked.

Got there. And suprise suprise ... Cant tell me whats wrong as both sensors are reading perfect.!!!

So its the tuners fault/issue is Subapoo's answer. !! Passing the buck!!

But i thought that Subapoo were the kings and could fix it!!! Mmmmhh!!

What's your tuner say?
Mine said leaks too but it was the avcs in the end.
Have you checked all the pcv hoses and connections?
Done the aerosol engine bay test test for leaks?
Are you logging?
Feel for ya ;)

Tuner has said O2 sensor...... Another tuner/mechanic said the same. Cause I do remember this happening previously and it was the blow off return hose but then happend again after that and we then put it down to the actual blow off valve .

So I'm thunking ( in relation to the link you provided BBB .. Ta BTW ) that it will either be the O2 sensor or my maf sensor.!!

It has a brand new blow off valve , and the manifold was taken off to do the Perrin inlet. And I 100% trust that it was all put back on properly as the guy who did it is meticulous .

As soon as the y pipe and mufflers where changed it just keeps on happening .!! So my ( and tuners advice ) thoughts is that the O2 sensor is to blame here.

It also threw 2 or 3 times a limp mode that limited boost to 8-10psi before all of my mods and we did think that the boost control solenoid was having issues ...... So maybe it's that as well.!!

I'm not logging it as I don't have a lap top. No leak testing yet. And my idle is odd when it throws the code only...
Little things.!! Annoying !! :angry2:

That level of commitment to mods really requires logging IMHO.

Track down your O2 part numbers - I'd wager they're affordable via Celtic / in the USA etc.

Also don't know if it make any difference but I have deleted my air pump too. I have removed the code from the ECU !!

Did you keep the atmo sensor?
The plot thickens...
Just buy a cheap laptop running XP and Office, strip out everything else not required, buy some antivirus and win!

All i did was un bolt the air pump. And block off the hose, then turn the code off in the system for the air pump.!!

Would i be able to dump the info/log into a portable hard drive??

Soooo the code keeps coming up and when you clear the code the car stutters a bit every now and again.

I did the smoke test and there are no leaks of any kind.

So that leaves me with

Maf sensor or the O2 sensor??

I'd start with the MAF as they are delicate but easily swappable, try to find a local member to temporarily swap with and see if you can replicate the cel.
If not its probably the O2 sensor ;)

So ive got a brand new O2 sensor......

Car drives better but still throwing this bloody code. Still burping/hesitating.!! Been told tune is sweet as and its not running lean at all.

Was ment to go and swap the af sensor in the headers with another forum member but thats not happening today.

Failing that fixing my issue , im gunna try swapping the maf sensor!!!

Failing that fixing the issue , the only thing i can think this is due to the fact that i dont have a catted dump pipe ( cat is in the normal under drivers seat location) .

In which case i will turn the bloody code off and be done with it.!!
