Help please?

Postby NRV155 » Tue Jul 02, 2013 3:28 pm

This is a CEL question. I got to work this morning and reversed into my spot. I when i put the gear into park my idle went low and lumpy and the engine light came on with a flashing cruise light. I had turned the aircon off just before i parked. I started my car at lunch with nothing showing up. After work, i went to pick my kid up without using air con, parked at the chil care and car was fine. Drove home using air con, got in my garage, put it in park and turned air con off then comes lumpy idle, engine light and flashing cruise light. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? 02 sensor maybe? Im going to garage 88 tomorow arvo to get it checked out. Just after i solve my misfire, this happens. Nothing but problems since i bought this thing.

mate, the car is 10 years old and you've had a slight misfire and now a low idle....
not exactly a dire situation yet.

Have the trouble code read, and it'll be a simple sensor that needs cleaning or replacing.
how many km on the car?

Better yet, invest the $20 in an OBD code reader from ebay and read your own codes

Amongst other suspension things all withing 5 months. Spent a small fortune on it so far. It has 140,000kms. Only $20 for a code reader? I'll look into that.
Thanks.
