Installing Rear Sway Bar in MY00 GX

I am going to buy a whiteline rear sway bar and put it in my completely stock MY00 GX Liberty either this week or next week but I had a couple of questions about it.

When doing it is it worth jacking the car up and putting it on axle stands or should I be able to do it while its on the ground?

Also will I need a wheel alignment after doing it?

Jack it up! And be sure to retighten everything after a few 100ks. I didn't get an alignment after putting mine in, I don't think you need to but could be wrong.

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn't have even thought to tighten everything again.

If your car has the plastic endlinks stock, you may want to upgrade to heavy duty endlinks at the same time
