Well, driving around today and logging on the new image. Got two P0175 codes, one for left bank and one for right bank. I think it means she is running too rich. Could also be MAF related. Does the position of the MAF make a difference as I think it has moved slightly in this version of the charge pipe?

Also, the performance has dropped off compared to pre-stage 2. Was doing 5.9 to the ton, now 6.4. Hoping is is all due to a too rich air-fuel mixture. We'll see soon...

Oxy sensors - may not like the new cats, that is not unusual, the tuner can sort the parameters on those.
Of course you would only adjust parameters knowing there is no critical underlying issue
The tune may be being built up, see how it improves as the improved images come through

Check with G about BOV adjustment - make yours same as his. This is quite critical. mm of thread above locknut will be useful comparison measurement. It is necessary so that idle and low speed AFRs are stable

Mmm... I did notice a change in the sound of the BOV. I tend to hear it more than I used to, specifically at low revs. I will check it out.

Tim,

G runs a different BOV, with a double spring, so his settings are not relevant to your BOV settings. What should they be? Is there a spec other than a mm measurement on the thread?

This little baby arrived at the workshop today:

Image

It will replace the little hot dog resonator in the centre single section of the xForce cat back. I am having a new centre section custom made so this will fit up a little more neatly if possible. The Y section will be retained. Will post up the 3-inch xForce centre section in the For Sale area when this is done.

Any reason for the offset muffler?

I think you've added too much restriction there.

Perhaps something like this would've been better>

If the offset is essentially straight through it will be a solid solution to sound reduction and not cost anything in power

We did the same thing for a customer with 3.0SC in Mackay, works extremely well
