Gran Turismo 6 end of 2013

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

The fact that gt took so many years to produce a game that still fell short of what forza did by a long shot is quite obvious.
We all know exactly how much effort it takes to make these.

Personally I hate my Xbox. Fuck paying for online, I literally only play for some forza action. Having to put batteries in a remote, noisy cooling fans, and sometimes freezes when saving. Not much I can do... I'll stick to my PS3 as much as I can

Mate you've just completely justified my blind sighted opinion.

Imo, Forza is more up to date and in tune with what people want now and mostly fufills those needs (mostly customisation), not a perfect game, but a fun game, drifting its really easy and same with the racing, although the handling physics dont feel all too there... theres something about it that doesnt make it that "real"

Gran Turismo, is for those that are old school. Its more gritty and more of a serious game than Forza or even most of the other games. You could dub it "hardcore" but then again.. its not that extremely detailed or "hardcore" than it could be.

This thing that gets me is these are games. No matter how good the physics are or how hardcore it is you'll never get that seat of the pants feeling you get in a real track car. Sometimes I think people forget that and expect far too much from the developers. I spent 10 year in the airforce even the multi million dollar flight sims used to train pilots don't come close to the feeling of flying a real aircraft so how can a console game even have a chance. I'm sure Forza is a great game but I've heard too many mates bitch about their Xboxes to go and buy one so I'll never know. Like you said they're all just a bit of fun that some people, not casting aspersions on anyone here, take way to bloody seriously.

I'm gonna report all of you motherfuckers. I specifically said don't turn this into a Forza vs GT discussion. Seriously. Halfwits.

I hope all of your intestines are infested by carnivorous fleas.

Because this one has my name on it. Then again that is reason enough for it to become a shitfight

Doesn't seem to take much these days. Have to be more careful of what you say around here than a guy does in a room full of female lawyers.

If I hear anything about GT6 here in Japan I'll be sure to let you all know. There's already a bit of PS4 hype over here but haven't seen any for GT6 yet.

The only game I can play on PS3 is GT5

Sometime we have a family game of FIFA or Little Big Planet - I just end up moving the controls fairly randomly  Sometimes good things happen - and the lads say hey Dad you're getting the hang of it! LOL :?

Spent a LONG time on GT5 though... can beat my 11 year old - can't beat the older lads  a steering wheel might help - but the missus says I spent too long with it already and doesn't want to encourage me to do more!!!
2.0 GT spec.B BP5 with a few mods...

... And now I will show you the most excellent way... 1 Corinthians 12 v 31.......

Gran Turismo 6 end of 2013

I absolutely love gt5 although there are aspects of it I dislike. I own all but two cars that are on the game which are the cerbera speed 12 and the elusive, extremely hard to find Glenn seton au falcon! And have logged something in the proximity of 1000+hours of game time! I go cut drifting laps every now and again, jump online and and destroy the shit out of people's hopes and dreams, tinker with the cars and do up ones I feel the need to! It's great, being on gt6

Hands up who actually drive the endurance races instead of putting on bspec mode.

I do! (Probably why I've only completed 4 of them!)

Me.

My pet hate in GT5 was the formula 1 grand prix thing. Fuck that was some intensely hard shit. Especially the Monaco track. So hard to judge how thick the car is to get around the corners and there is no run off just wall so would be playing bumper cars half the time.

I've done the first few. I sat there for 4 hrs one day and did one non-stop. The Mrs kept asking why I would do one race for 4 hrs. I kept telling her to bugger off as I wasn't going to start again if I crashed while answering her questions.

All our stuff arrives tomorrow from Aus so if anyone's up for a bit of online action let me know.
